On December 9, 2025, Silpakorn University, together with the China National Academy of Painting and the Thai-Chinese Culture Council, will host the opening ceremony of the "1st Thai-Chinese Ties Art Exhibition" at the National Gallery on Chao Fa Road, Bangkok. This significant event marks the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Kingdom of Thailand and the People's Republic of China.
The exhibition aims to reflect the long-standing and profound bond between the two nations through art and culture—a spiritual medium that transcends borders to communicate identity, philosophy, and social values. The showcase features contemporary artworks from Thai and Chinese artists who have inherited and enriched their respective artistic wisdom, serving as a testament to the cultural beauty of both countries.
The opening ceremony will feature congratulatory remarks from Thai and Chinese partners, along with special activities including:
- A keynote speech titled "50 Years of Thai-Chinese Ties" by Dr. Tej Bunnag, Secretary-General of the Thai Red Cross Society.
- Cultural performances by artists from both nations.
- Music in the Garden, fostering a warm atmosphere of friendship and cultural exchange.
The "1st Thai-Chinese Ties Art Exhibition" is open to the public from December 9–28, 2025, at the National Gallery (Chao Fa), from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM (Closed on Mondays and Tuesdays).
