On Monday, August 17, 2026, the Faculty of Painting, Sculpture and Graphic Arts, Silpakorn University, hosted the opening ceremony of "The 1st International MINI PRINT Biennale 2026" at the PSG Art Gallery, Silpakorn University, Tha Phra Palace, Bangkok.
The ceremony was co-chaired by Prof. Dr. Tanasait Ngawhirunpat, President of Silpakorn University, and Mr. Thapana Sirivadhanabhakdi, Chief Executive Officer of Thai Beverage Public Company Limited. The event was well-attended by university executives, faculty members, artists, distinguished experts, guests of honor, and art enthusiasts.
The 1st International MINI PRINT Biennale 2026 is an international platform for printmaking that brings together artists from around the globe. A total of 200 selected artworks from 39 countries are on display. This includes 23 award-winning pieces—comprising the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes alongside 20 Honorable Mentions—and 177 officially selected works.
This exhibition marks a significant milestone for the Faculty of Painting, Sculpture and Graphic Arts, Silpakorn University, in creating a space for artistic exchange, connecting international artists and printmaking networks, and promoting the role of Thai printmaking in the contemporary global art scene.
