Silpakorn Art Student Wins First Prize in 2026 Young Artist Potential Development Project

Mr. Tishanon Hongprasert, a student from the Faculty of Painting, Sculpture and Graphic Arts, Silpakorn University, was awarded the first prize in the Young Artist Potential Development Project for Fiscal Year 2026. The competition was held under the theme “Fulfilling Dreams & NEW VISION” to empower and enhance the skills of young artists in creating high-quality contemporary artworks.

The award ceremony took place at the Office of the President, Phetchabun Rajabhat University. Ms. Kasorn Kamnoedpetch, Director of the Office of Contemporary Art and Culture (OCAC), presided over the ceremony to honor the outstanding artists.

The event was honored by Mr. Sompong Homsanit, Vice Governor of Phetchabun, who delivered a welcoming speech to the participants. Other distinguished guests included Asst. Prof. Dr. Preecha Srirungrith (President of Phetchabun Rajabhat University), Ms. Phatcharanan Kaeojinda (Phetchabun Provincial Cultural Officer), and Asst. Prof. Suwat Budmuang (Contemporary Artist of Phetchabun).

This achievement reflects the exceptional potential of Silpakorn University students in contemporary art creation and signifies a major milestone in developing the next generation of artists for national and international stages.
